Birmingham SHOUT Gay + Lesbian Film Festival is now accepting entries to the 2007 festival, slated for April 27+28+29.The 2007 Birmingham SHOUT Gay + Lesbian Film Festival has announced its Call For Entries for feature-length narratives, documentaries and short film entries. Now in its 2nd year, the festival has expanded to include a juried competition! Narrative features, documentary features, and short films will compete in their respective categories for the coveted Best Film and Audience Choice awards.
Regular Deadline: January 29 / Fee: $25
Late Deadline: February 19 / Fee: $30
Birmingham SHOUT prefers submissions online through Withoutabox.com, but a downloadable PDF entry form can be accessed here.
Eligible works must have content of interest to GLBT communities. Eligible works must have been completed after January 1, 2004 and must not have been publicly exhibited in the Greater Birmingham Metropolitan Area prior to the 2007 festival dates. Work accepted to screen at the festival may be categorized in competitive and non-competitive categories at the sole discretion of Birmingham SHOUT.
